Our Product Marketing Manager is passionate about technology and can work cross-functionally between Product Management, Central Marketing and Sales to champion a great customer experience for top revenue generating QTS business customers.  The Product Marketing Manager has superior verbal and written communication skills and a talent for creating compelling content for marketing collateral and sales enablement tools that clearly convey product value propositions and key messages.  The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring readiness across the organization for new product launches, enhancements, promotions or any other events during the product lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

  • Work with Product Management to understand the roadmap, products and timing for launch activities 
  • Serve as the ‘voice of the customer’ within QTS, while monitoring market trends, researching markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Communicate the value proposition, positioning and key messaging of assigned QTS product(s)  
  • Generate content for high impact marketing collateral (i.e. datasheets, brochures, customer presentations and campaigns) and internal sales enablement tools (i.e. playbooks, scripts, FAQ and battle cards)
  • Collaborate cross functionally to develop and execute go-to-market plan for your product(s)
  • Raise awareness for new product initiatives by conceptualizing and launching demand gen programs
  • Evangelize QTS products at conferences, tradeshows, roadshows and to prospects
  • Regular travel is required


  • BA or BS in Marketing or equivalent professional work experience
  • Seven or more years of related professional experience in technology product marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with business support applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required



  • Experience in the wholesale data center industry, including experience with real estate brokers, hyperscale providers and critical facilities management
  • Proven success working with large revenue-generating business customers
  • Background working closely with Sales and Marketing across a national or global footprint



  • Ability to transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally
  • Experienced at successfully multi-tasking a variety of priorities
