Customer focused, team oriented Senior Cloud Storage Engineer with a broad-based knowledge, experience, and hands-on skill installing and managing fibre channel (FC, FCOE & iSCSI) SAN & File  storage arrays, FC SAN switches, replication and performing SAN client installations in a leading data center environment.  Successful candidates must have a solid understanding of standard major operating systems, applications, and networking. Proven ability to analyze and perform problem resolution with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Advanced skills in understanding a customer’s requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative solutions for customers. Ability to analyze hardware and software tools and develop products and managed services for data center customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

  • Support design, operation, work flow and issue resolution for the Storage infrastructure
  • Installation/Deprovision of Storage for customers
  • Support sales and work with Customers to design storage solutions within the managed service toolset
  • Problem analysis and resolution of storage support issues working with Help Desk Ticket System
  • Develop and maintain storage documentation, procedures, SOPs, and reporting
  • Provide weekly status reports on individual projects and tasks
  • Perform maintenance for Storage infrastructure
  • Share knowledge by effectively documenting work and performing internal training of storage services
  • Install, configure, setup and maintain FC and iSCSI storage arrays and storage related hardware and software in a managed services environment
  • Installation and configuration of storage hosts 
  • Participate in on-call rotation of 24x7 support and be flexible in availability as needed
  • Travel as required to support remotes site, estimated to be less than 10% 



  • Seven or more years’ experience with EMC Clariion Storage, VNX & VMAX storage
  • Seven or more years’ experience with SAN FC, FCoE and iSCSI
  • Seven or more years’ experience with SAN FC switching and zoning, Cisco MDS and Brocade
  • Three or more years’ experience with VPLEX
  • Three or more years’ experience with NetApp
  • Three or more years’ experience with PureStorage
  • Three or more years’ experience with Dell Compellent
  • Three or more years’ experience with HP 3Par
  • Experience with EMC RecoverPoint and similar technologies
  • Experience and solid understanding of major operating systems and local area networking




  • Experience with VMware
  • Experience with EMC SRM and VIPR 
  • Storage industry certifications 




  • Ability to learn and apply new technology and methodologies in a distributed environment
  • Proven ability to work with Enterprise and Service Provide customers.
  • Ability to think quickly on your feet in the face of difficult questions and always remaining professional
