SUMMARY

 

The Federal Contract Manager will support our Federal sales team with the administration and management of contracts and subcontracts through all phases of the process.  The Contract Manager collaborates with the QTS Federal Sales team, project teams, and other functional areas across the business to apply processes and procedures for contract and subcontract requests while enabling QTS company policies and procedures.  The Contracts Manager will have a strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) and Security compliance requirements.  This opportunity will report to our EVP of Federal Sales. 

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

  • Reviews and manages contractual obligations and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met
  • Analyze and review Federal RFPs while providing proposal guidance based on FAR and Government Security requirements
  • Draft and manage teaming agreements with partners and subcontractors
  • Coordinate NDA agreements with Federal partners based on program opportunity
  • Manage subcontractor agreements through legal terms, pay terms, security requirements, agency and FAR flow downs, compliance, cleared personnel and security requirements
  • Maintain contract compliance and information security requirements
  • Review requirements for QTS personnel supporting the program to remain compliant to Federal and SI ethics standards and protocols
  • Coordination of contract modification and SI/Agency requirements
  • Review and manage cleared personnel training, certifications, on board/off board, and all requirements as needed
  • Work with the customer’s subcontract administrators to ensure faster path to sales and modification management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of five years of Contract Management experience in a Federal Government contracting environment
  • Experience with prime and sub-contracting agreements
  • Proficiency in FAR/DFARs requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • US Citizen

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  

 

  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks
