The Director, Program Management - Enterprise Technology Solutions is chartered by the CTO to evangelize the QTS brand, establish an academia program, get intentional about interacting with customers, and harmonize the QTS product roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

  • Represent the technology and vision of QTS to the public in order to promote our brand on behalf of our CEO on a quarterly basis.
  • Work with internal marketing to ensure all at QTS understand our technology vision and direction including supporting adoption of new medium to improve internal communication (collaboration, groupware, video etc)
  • Present at conferences and events, speaking with industry leaders and giving interviews on behalf of the CTO, no less than four events a year.
  • Partner with our top 5 strategic partners, top 5 vendors (by spend) to capture their key roadmap items of the next 3 – 5 years.  Present these findings to Product teams quarterly in order to drive the 3-5 year technology strategy.
  • Represent and communicate the overall Product roadmap, to customers, industry, academia, investors, and other groups. 
  • Build an aggressive program to establish a relationship with 5% of the customer base in 2018. This will be in the form of weekly/ monthly meetings with the strategic element of their organization. The purpose of which is to understand their direction, problems they are trying to solve and how QTS can participate.
  • Develop investment plan (people and financial) to support the establish of a relationships with a major Technical University near our engineering hubs in our critical markets. In 2018, establish relationships with three two universities with a cadence of quarterly meetings in order to find opportunities to work together. This will take place in form of grad students, research and collaboration projects, internships, and applicants to QTS.
  • Participate in the QTS “Q” Leadership Academy by providing the QTS history and other content for new QTS 101 classes, leadership and technology sessions.
  • Support technology lab requirements of the “Q” Leadership Academy.  This includes working with content developers to design a program where vendors’ equipment is effectively onboarded through the lab.
  • Support Technology Office for matters involving M&A including performing initial diligence and review of prospects
  • In conjunction with People Services and Technology Office, develop and facilitate a principal engineering program at QTS.  This program will be a peer review program targeting 10% of QTS’s top engineering talent.  Program shall be based on industry standards established by Google/IBM/HP/Sun.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree within Technology or related field
  • Ten or more years of related professional experience
  • Experience presenting at conferences, universities and/or similar public forums

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Technology or related field
