The Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities and will assist with light maintenance activities. This position is located in our Suwanee, GA Metro Mega Data Center.


The position will be working Monday - Friday. Hours will likely be 6:30 AM-3:30 PM for onboarding training but after orientation is complete the shift will be more consistently a 10 AM - 6 PM shift. As business needs require for special projects, occasional weekends may be required.



RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned


  • Perform janitorial duties: Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, etc. throughout the facilities.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to: drywall repair, painting, lamp replacement, furniture moves and changes, cleaning of parking lots, toilet and sink repairs, etc.
  • Perform regular walkthroughs of the facility to ensure the cleanliness of the facility and to identify necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Stock restroom and kitchen items as necessary.
  • Maintain and manage necessary inventory of janitorial and kitchen supplies.
  • Respond to facilities-related emergencies at a level that matches experience and training. This may include responding to emergencies after-hours and on weekends.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of facilities-related construction projects.
  • Monitor work performed by facilities vendors and contractors as directed.
  • Assist other members of the facilities department as needed.



  • GED, High School Diploma, Trade School or equivalency
  • One or more years of experience in the janitorial and/or facilities maintenance field


  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Completion of General Services Maintenance courses
  • Experience in a critical operations building and/or data center environment
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance and performance


  • The ability to pass job-related skills assessments based on pre-determined scoring criteria and time frames.
  • The ability to acquire and apply job
