The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing and coordinating all vendor and procurement related documentation for the Department. 

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

  • Support our goal of doubling our size by 2020 by maximizing the value we get from our suppliers
  • Maintain the contract database
  • Own the supplier onboarding process
  • Serve as the primary Procurement point of contact for Legal department inquiries
  • Field inquiries from Accounts Payable to support resolving supplier invoice related issues
  • Analyze purchasing and vendor data and provide reports as necessary from existing Software Applications (Zycus, Great Plains, and ServiceNow)
  • Field telephone calls and inquiries on Procurement related process and activities
  • Identify ways to fulfill the organization’s needs more effectively and efficiently while reducing risk and achieving high compliance standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve their processes when needed
  • Improve the any processes as necessary to eliminate root causes of waste
  • Provide backup coverage to Procurement Buyers as needed


  • Intersect – Able to bring together multiple people from multiple levels and functions across multiple companies/cultures to create value.
  • Invent – Able to assist in alignment of the strategic direction of QTS and supplier(s) alongside the Category Managers.
  • Invest – Able to assist category managers with managing supplier relationships
  • Act – Holds team members accountable for delivering on their assigned projects.
  • Adjust – Lead Procurement team meetings


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
  • One or more years of related professional work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office


  • Strong Administrative Skills
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience/exposure in technology and real estate industries


  • Ability to organize, interpret, and draw appropriate conclusions from large volumes of data
  • Ability to present findings to a multi-leveled audience
