    Reporting to the Audit Committee and administratively to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Audit leads the strategic direction and manages the execution of QTS Audit Services to QTS departments and customers.


    QTS Audit Services executes and operates in three key areas:

    • ERM – Coordination of QTS Enterprise Risk Management Program
    • Compliance Audits – Management of compliance audits covering SARBOX 404, ISO 27001:2013, SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HITRUST, FISMA
    • Internal Audits – Audits conducted based on ERM results in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors guidelines.

    RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

    • Development of Audit Services vision, strategy, and goals.
    • Development and implementation of Audit Services programs.
    • Development and execution of talent recruitment, employee development, and performance management program.
    • Identification of resource requirements, and development of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
    • Management of departmental financials for attainment of budget and reforecast goals.
    • Support of Audit team members in engagement execution and delivery.
    • Support QTS departmental leadership and customers in identification of risk and implementation of controls.
    • Presentation of Audit Services activities and results to QTS Audit Committee and Executive Management team.
    • Delivery of industry group presentations on QTS internal audit and compliance strategy and services, and compliance market developments.


    • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
    • One or more certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or related equivalent.
    • Twelve or more years of experience in internal audit service delivery related experience
    • Ten or more years of experience in technology industry including but not limited to data center, cloud, technology managed services experience
    • Five or more years of experience leading teams
    • Four or more years of data center operations and/or financial reporting experience.
