    The Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for administering and maintaining compensation and benefits plans for all of QTS.  Special emphasis on the sales team and managing the monthly payment of commissions due. This includes preparing statements and monthly reports for the account executives and advisors and providing monthly reports to management.  Communication with Finance, Sales Operations, People Services, all levels of sales management and other senior management is a critical component of this position.  In addition, this position will serve as a backup to all compensation related queries & administration in QTS.

    RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

    • Serve as system administrator of the Xactly Incent solution including system maintenance and testing to ensure the system can handle commission calculations for various company changes
    • Administer all finance-related aspects of our variable compensation (bonus and equity) and commission plans for the company’s rapidly growing sales teams including monthly commissions calculation
    • Participate in the development or construction of annual commission plans along with quotas that is led by Sales Operations to ensure feasibility of commission calculations along with value added feedback
    • Work with Accounting and Payroll teams to communicate and process monthly commission payments accurately and on time
    • Track, research and resolve commission calculation-related inquiries and exceptions including disputes and appeals
    • Work closely with People Services and Sales Operations to understand commission plans, new hire offers including non-standard terms, leave of absences, and terminations
    • Track, research and resolve all compensation related queries in QTS
    • Responsible for administration of employee benefits in all company operations
    • As needed, this position will provide guidance and assistance to all locations on various employee benefit plans
    • Supports VP, People Services Operations in developing, recommending and implementing approved, new or modified plans and employee benefits policies
    • Supports VP, People Services operations in administration of existing plans


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
    • Sales compensation experience
    • Five or more years of compensation planning experience, preferably in the technology industry
    • Three or more years of experience working with Xactly Incent Compensation Management System
    • Proficiency in creating elegant, efficient, and effective compensation and financial models, budgets, and reports as well as enthusiastic to train others to do the same.
    • Expert proficiency in MS Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions, etc.
