    The Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities and will assist with light maintenance activities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

    • Perform janitorial duties: Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, etc. throughout the facilities.
    • Perform regular walkthroughs of the facility to ensure the cleanliness of the facility and to identify necessary maintenance tasks.
    • Stock restroom and kitchen items as necessary.
    • Maintain and manage necessary inventory of janitorial and kitchen supplies.
    • Respond to facilities-related emergencies at a level that matches experience and training. This will includes response to emergencies after-hours and on weekends.
    • Monitor work performed by facilities vendors and contractors as directed.
    • Assist other members of the facilities department as needed.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • GED, High School Diploma, Trade School or equivalency
    • One or more years of experience in the janitorial and/or facilities maintenance field

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Experience in a critical operations building and/or data center environment
    • Ability to lift and carry 50-75 pounds and work from ladders and scaffolding
    • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for at least 8 hours.
    • Demonstrated reliable attendance and performance

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • The ability to pass job-related skills assessments based on pre-determined scoring criteria and time frames.
    • The ability to acquire and apply job-related knowledge within set guidelines and expectations
