    The Senior Product Manager - Colocation will be responsible for the direction, lifecycle and profitability of our Colocation products within QTS. This individual will be the point person for updates, strategy, direction and new releases of products. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

    • Working with internal teams and vendors on building cutting edge, competitive products
    • Developing and executing the product roadmap, including launching new products, enhancing existing products, and retiring products
    • Developing and documenting the product/business requirements for each product development effort
    • Building the business case for product development efforts as needed
    • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure commercial readiness with the launch of a product
    • Driving overall product line revenue growth and product level P&L
    • Develop and review pricing for new products that allows QTS to achieve financial goals
    • Staying up to date on market trends and the needs of our customers to inform product strategy


    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience
    • Five or more years of experience working in Product Management
    • Three or more years of experience working in the data center/colocation space with hands-on colocation product experience.  



    • MBA or related Master’s degree
    • Five or more years of experience working in the data center/colocation space
    • Engineering or Technology experience in combination with either Sales, Marketing or Sales Engineering experience
    • Entrepreneurial/start-up experience



    • Excellent interpersonal skills (Communication, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation, etc.) when dealing with internal and/or external audiences at all levels of management
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Knowledge of financial modeling to include ROIC and IRR modeling
