    The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for providing a visual security presence to
    ensure visitors, clients, and employees have a safe and pleasant experience while inside the Facility.
    Deter and detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or site infractions which may pose a
    threat to the property, client or employees at the site. Provide excellent customer service to all
    individuals that enter the facility and further employee/management relations, goodwill and public
    relations to keep our customers for life.

    RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

    • Develop and maintain working relationships with Federal, State, and Local
    • Law Enforcement as well as Fire and EMS
    • Perform security officer duties as needed to ensure efficient operations and guest service
      standards are met
    • Provides reports as needed for internal and external audits
    • Programming of cameras for install, trained by Will
    • Monthly Customer reports, provides custom reports
    • Monthly OPS Leadership reports
    • Monthly Cap Labor reports
    • Monthly Badge charge reports
    • Maintains Key Watcher System, adds new customers, checks inventory, troubleshoots
      issues
    • Updates customers space/ location & key inventory logs
    • Works closely with OSC to resolve ticketing issues, daily communication (On Site Advisor)
    • Weekly Iris, Bio Backups on systems
    • Review of all EOS Reports and Labor Tracking reports
    • Provisioning/ De-Provisioning of new officers
    • Train, manage and support contract guard service to ensure great customer service in all Security interactions
    • Ensure contract guard service models QTS culture and lives QTS customer creed

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
    • Two or more years of experience in Physical Security Management

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Four or more years of experience in Physical Security Management
    • Two or more years of experience with Data Center Security
    • Two or more years of experience with Security Systems like Lenel or Honeywell (Prowatch)
    • Two or more years of experience managing direct security personnel or security contractors

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

     

    • Proficient with computer skills
    • Proficient in Access Control Systems and related software
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; for the purpose of public
      interaction and report writing. Have excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle typical emergency and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
    • Ability to walk, stand or sit for at least 8 hours.
