    The ideal candidate provides leadership and direction to a team of finance professionals and managers with primary responsibilities for multiple key operational departments: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and monthly customer Billing. Their focus is on transforming manual processes through digitization. They maintain a strong controls environment and drives process improvements within the organization. Candidate demonstrates proven success in driving operational efficiency in transactional based environment. Serves as key organizational partner across multiple functional areas (Sales, Operations, Legal, etc.) to achieve overall strategic initiatives.


    RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned

    • Drive transformative process improvements across key operations of multiple accounting departments
    • Champion integration of 3rd party IT systems within existing processes to further company digitization initiatives
    • Lead implementation of ERP Software for AP, AR, Billing and related Banking functions; and other future strategic financial departments and projects as needed
    • Responsible for maintaining a high-performing team including mentoring and training staff members and identifying cross-training opportunities
    • Lead multiple finance managers to establish and accomplish department development goals
    • Establish role as key organizational partner with customers and vendors to facilitate efficient financial transactions
    • Demonstrate agility with competing projects and priorities
    • Ability to expand role and influence key stakeholders to achieve organizational goals
    • Lead and nurture a work culture with a positive attitude that promotes open, frequent and dynamic communication among staff, stimulating teamwork to accomplish desired goals and objectives
    • Champions thought leadership across broader Accounting organization
    • Provide support for periodic financial audits across multiple key financial areas
    • Design and implement internal controls around key accounting processes
    • Ensures compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
    • Inspire team members through example and work ethic


    • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting
    • Ten or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas
    • Seven or more years of Supervisory experience
    • Microsoft Great Plains experience or other large ERP systems
    • Experience in leading successful IT systems implementation for growth and scale
    • Ability to design, implement, streamline and manage complex processes



    • CPA, MBA, or graduate finance related degree
    • Demonstrate prior success with process digitization initiatives, including IT systems process transformations
    • Previous experience with Six Sigma or other process-improvement oriented programs
    • Proven success managing customer and vendor facing functions.
    • Demonstrates bias toward excellent customer service




    • A strategic thinker with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial processes
    • Familiarity with process mapping and a variety of transactional based automated tools
    • Understanding of banking integration into accounting transactional processes
    • Demonstrated proficiency with project life-cycle management
    • Professional agility
    • Proven success with conflict resolution
    • Must have the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments with competing priorities
